Trent Gudmundsen, though having begun as a self-proclaimed impressionist landscape painter at the age of 14, has found his unique voice...one that is not easily defined (but might lie somewhere between expressionism and painterly realism). It is sufficient to say that Trent's work is honest and from the heart. The artist feels that his best work is that which is done "without really trying"; his paintings are full of romance and expression, while also being accurate visual interpretations of his subjects.
